Everybody’s favorite piece of commercial bar furniture: booths
After you’ve picked out the rest of your furniture, its time to cater to the customers who want to drink in comfort. After all, everyone knows that a bar makes its money from selling alcohol. More than that, bars make a ton of money from their VIP section. And what’s a VIP section without booths?
You may be asking yourself, “How much is this going to cost me?” Prices vary from vendor to vendor. However, keep in mind that this particular type of furniture is more important than the rest, because the people who will be using it will be (on average) higher paying customers. If you have to spend a bit extra for some nice leather booths, then do it. You’ll be making money from patrons who come to drink in your tavern. Feel free to spring for expensive seating arrangements.
Leather booths are very popular and also add an element of class to your bar. A few well placed leather booths give patrons an extra seating option, which can turn a seedy bar into a… seedy bar with booths. But seriously, putting a booth in a corner of the bar gives patrons some much needed privacy in a public place. Placed off to the side, a booth gives an instant VIP section to that part of your bar.
